1. Coverage

The customer accepts with the order the general sales and delivery conditions.

Our offers are as shown in the pictures, drawings, weights and measurements. At handles made of natural materials (wood, horn, ...) the delivered knife (product) can differ from the photo (video).
Customer orders are according to the direction of the customer law in Austria. The sales contract comes into effect only following delivery whereby we reserve the right not to accept an order. In that event the customer will be notified immediately.

We accept orders from out-of-area customers only from full business-capable customers. With an order the customer confirms to have reached the age of 18 years.

Purchaser from outside Austria are supposed to inquire about the local laws before placing an order; in this regard we take no liability!

When ordering products which are obtainable in Austria only to people of 18 years or older, please send us unasked a copy of your ID-Card (jpg, pdf) by email (Help).

Orders can not be done by Mail, Fax or Telephone.

2. Prices and Payment

Our prices a gross sales prices; the price is valid on the order date. Our prices are given in Euro and include the 20% Austrian Value Added Tax.
Minimum order EUR 15,--.

Following an order, you will receive an automatically generated order protocol. Should you not receive this confirmation, we ask that you notify us immediately.

Acceptable Payment:
--by credit card-- (Visa, Mastercard) over a SSL secured connection
--by PayPal (excluding specific Articles)
--by Payment in advance-- (ONLY within the SEPA-Area = 27 EU-Members and Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Monaco and Iceland). You will get my Bank-Data for the SEPA-Transfer (IBAN and BIC / SWIFT) in an separate Email after review the order.
After receiving the money we will send the parcel. If the amount does not arrive within 14 days we have to give the articles free for sell again, later money-transfers can lead to delivery delay.

We reserve the right to change delivery costs when the article ordered has unusual dimensions or weight and requires other shipping channels than the postal service. The customer will be notified of this change and asked for agreement to the new shipping costs.

When shipping to countries outside the European Union, duty and/or import fees may be required. These fees are the responsibility of the customer; the Seller does not have any influence on these fees and cannot determine what they might be. These fees vary from country to country. Should the customer wish more information, the Seller recommends that the customer be in touch with the local Customs Office.
Please note that, as importer, the customer is required to follow the local import regulations.

The goods delivered will remain our property until complete settlement of all claims from the business transacted between ourselves and the direct customer.

3. Delivery

The delivery times please refer to the Delivery Times Table.
Principally orders are conveyed within 3 business days following the order. The customer will be notified via e-mail should any item be momentarily unavailable.

Partial deliveries only are made on request, what leads to higher shipping costs.

Delivery will be made to the address provided by the customer. When the address is incorrect, incomplete and/or unclear, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs.

Please indicate your phone number at the time of order. These will be added when sent via DPD to the address and facilitates the DPD driver the delivery in case of problems.Your Email is used by DPD to inform you about the status of the delivery via DPD-predict.

4. Guarantee and Liability

The Seller is to be notified of any fault in the product noticed after delivery – customer and seller are protected according to the Customer Protection Law of Austria. The customer is to review the received article(s) and notify the Seller of any incompleteness, incorrect article or product fault via e-mail within 7 business days following receipt of the order; any and all complaints are to be made in writing to the Seller.

Returns will only be accepted with proper postage and following notification from the customer. The guarantee for any article covers the repair and/or replacement of the product. The guarantee is for six months. Any delivery damage must be claimed with the delivery company.

Customers are covered according to the guarantee regulations of the Customer Protection Law of Austria.
The Seller is not responsible for any damage caused by individuals not associated with Seller.

5. Consumer's Right of Rescission

5.1 (A consumer is any natural person who enters into a transaction for purposes which can be attributed mainly neither to his or her business nor self-employed professional activities.)


5.2 Notice on the Right of Rescission

You have the right to rescind this agreement within fourteen days, without giving a reason. The withdrawal period shall be fourteen days from the date on which you or a named third party, other than the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right, you must send written notice (e.g. by post, fax or email) that clearly expresses your intention to rescind the agreement to

You may use the attached sample notice of rescission, but its use is not required.

 

If you exercise your right, I will provide immediate confirmation of your notice of rescission (for example, by email). The notice of rescission shall be deemed timely if it has been sent before the expiry of the rescission period stated herein.


5.3 Consequences of rescission

If you rescind this contract, we shall refund all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs incurred by your optional choice of another mode of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by use) within fourteen days from the date on which your notice of rescission has been received by us. We will refund the same method of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed; in no instance, will you be charged fees for this refund.

 

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods. You shall return the goods to us promptly and in any event not later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us that you are exercising your right to rescind the contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before fourteen days run out. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

 

If you cannot return the product in whole or in part or return it only in deteriorated condition, you must compensate me for the loss of value. When returning items, this does not apply when the deterioration of the item can be attributed to its examination such as would have been done in a physical retail store.

 

5.4 Exclusion of the right of rescission

The right does not apply to contracts

 

6. Privacy Policy

6.1 The customer acknowledges that his data included in the purchase agreement will be stored and processed for accounting and record-keeping purposes. We will use your data to satisfy statutory requirements and to process your payment.

We will disclose your data to the shipping company we have hired for purposes of delivering the products purchased. The disclosure will include only that data necessary to deliver your purchase.

 

6.2 You can place your order as a guest or you set up a customer account. We will ask you for personal information such as your name, shipping address, email and phone number. We will retain this information to provide you with convenient order processing in the future. In addition, you can store items in your account in the form of shopping lists and check your order status.

Once an account has been created, regardless of whether you are a new or regular customer with us, you can use the data stored on your behalf during the order process. Additional data that may be required for certain payment methods such as credit card payments will not be permanently stored in your customer account.

If you choose to make a purchase without setting up a customer account, your data will be permanently deleted by us after the statutory retention period.

 

6.3 You may at any time receive free information about the data we have stored about you without stating any further reason. You can always block, correct or delete any data we have stored about you. You can always revoke without stating any reasons the consent you have given for us to collect and use your data. Our contact address is found in our legal notice or  you can contact our customer service department.

 

6.4 We use a secure online transmission method called secure socket layer (SSL) to transmit and process your personal information. This transmission method is supported by most browsers. All information transferred using this secure method is encrypted before it is sent to us. This ensures that no unauthorized persons can access your information.


6.5 This shop stores cookies about the contents of your shopping cart which can then be accessed on your next visit. If you would like to register with us or place an order, we will need your customer data. If you are already a customer with us, you can easily sign in with your email address and your personal password. The data stored in a cookie saves you time filling out the forms. The cookies generated will be stored on your computer depending on your browser settings. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the use of cookies and decide to block them as desired.

7. Legal Addendum

Any legal differences of the various points in these general sales and delivery conditions are to be covered under the previously stated regulations. The parties are responsible to solve any differences in a written fashion, acceptable to both parties.

8. Responsible Court

This contract is covered under the Austrian Material Right under exclusion of the UN-Purchase Rights. Responsible Court and Location is Linz, Austria.
