Sharpened blade of handforged and folded ASSAB K-120C swedish steel. Differentially tempered to produce an HRC 60 edge, HRC 40 back and a distinctive hamon. Genuine rayskin covered wooden handle with black cotton cord wrap. Blackened iron tsuba featuring a tiger inlaid in brass. Wood scabbard with black lacquer finish with inlaid brass bamboo leaves. Blade with long tang is fitted with two mekugi (bamboo pegs) for greater security.
